Raasel has won all three starts since returning from a lay-off with his last two victories coming over track and trip. He beat Wrenthorpe last time and is 3lb higher today while Dark Shot also arrives in fine form having landed a double but was due to run at Catterick yesterday. The two-year-old Josies Kid won a nursery at York recently but has to race from out 5lb of the weights in this while Zim Baby and ZARGUN (NAP) were both well beaten in a tougher sprint at Doncaster last weekend. The latter had won at Catterick before that with Count D'Orsay behind and gets another chance with an apprentice’s allowance in his favour.
