A seller in all but name, with the likes of Kernel Dowry and Burley Firebrand both having claims, but a chance is taken with Freeloader to regain the winning thread. John Hills' colt is unexposed over this trip, having won on the only occasion he has tackled it, and confirmed his well-being when a close-up third to Reap over an inadequate trip at Newmarket earlier this month. Off the same mark here, he looks sure to take all the beating. Kernel Dowry ran well for a long way at Kempton and as that was his first outing since May, he can be expected to strip fitter here. Burley Firebrand comes here in fine form and may be capable of further improvement over this longer trip, while Desert Fortune also has a squeak on his run behind Tirailleur at Chepstow. However, the return to 10-furlongs is expected to bring out the best in Freeloader, and he can prove too strong for his rivals.
