There are any number of possibles here, but the lightly-raced Lyrical Sound is selected ahead of Fayr Sky, Magadar, Rosthwaite and Branston Bertie to name but a few. This is a very competitive nursery on paper, but Lyrical Sound has the scope to improve a few pounds after opening her account comfortably at Leicester on what was only her second ever race. Barry Hills's filly won going away and may not be badly treated for her nursery bow. The form of that Leicester success was given a boost when the runner-up King Alfie went one better at Beverley on Wednesday, and she can take this en-route to a possible crack at the ¿250,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes next month. Fayr Sky showed improved form to score at Catterick and has a top jockey on board in Jamie Spencer, while Magadar was not beaten too far by Vegas Boys at Warwick and is yet another to consider. Rosthwaite overcame a slow start to finish second at Catterick and hails from a stable doing well with its youngsters, and Branston Bertie should be noted if punted in the ring as there may be plenty more to come. Most of the rest are fairly well exposed, and Lyrical Sound makes appeal with plenty going for her, including the draw.
