In depth

Verdict

Andromache caught the eye on her final juvenile start and looks potentially wekk treated at present. Luca Cumani's filly failed to last home over 10f on her Bath return and will be suited by the drop back in trip. Ashton Vale has raced exclusively on an artificial surface to date but has shown ability while Mr Lear shaped promisingly in similar company at Newcastle last month. Shirley Collins has claims on her third behind Arms Acrossthesea at Musselburgh and is another to consider.
