Steuben has produced just one decent effort since arriving from Germany but given connections it wouldn't be a shock if he reproduced that effort over this longer trip. ASKER won a bumper in October and both victories under Flat rules have come on heavy ground. He struggled to beat the in-form Bilidn over this trip at Ffos Las but the remainder were a very long way behind and with further progress likely he can remain unbeaten. Palazzo Bianco attracted support in the Northumberland Plate but hated the heavy ground and finished tailed off. He won over this trip at Haydock in September and should give a good account. Lexington Bay also tailed off at Newcastle and he'll be much more at home on this ground though Kleitomachos has won twice this season on very testing going.
