In depth

Verdict

A very moderate contest in which Governor Daniel is begrudging selected for want of a logical selection. He is at least consistent in this grade and with his stable in top form, he should take the beating if putting his best foot forward. Salford is in the right grade after a couple of forays into non-selling company. He has reportedly broken bloodvessels in the past and that must always be considered when placing any confidence in him. Tom's River is held by Salford and looks to have lost the plot these days. Commanche Summer comes from a shrewd yard and if any money is seen for her, it would be folly to ignore the market signs.
