    In depth

    Verdict

A truly dire affair where quantity severely outweighs quality. Kilmeny doesn't look to be the easiest of rides but on bare figures, she only has to be pointed in the right direction to take this contest. La Marette is exposed at selling grade and could probably do with a step up in trip. That said, Kilmeny did need to be given the full McCoy treatment to stay the trip last time so if she wonders around, Ron Hodges charge could pick up the pieces.Artemise produced her best run for some time at Exeter but doesn't look to be one of Alan King's stars while there is little to suggest that a step back in trip will suit Ambience Lady.
