    Verdict

Our Nel was out the back when last seen at Ascot in February. However, if she can recapture the form of her previous start on Rules debut when a four-length fourth of 18 at Warwick she would be the one to beat and is afforded the opportunity to prove that latest running all wrong. Edmond sports first-time cheekpieces and has shown enough ability on all three starts to be a player, although it would not surprise should one of the unraced brigade step forward. Nicky Henderson has an outstanding bumper record and introduces Manala, whilst Dunalong is a well-related newcomer whose stablemate, Aprille Mai, is also worth a second look.
