Dinarelli, Greensmith Lane, Mrs Philip and Belcaro look to be the principles in this wide open finale and the vote is given to Greensmith Lane. The selection ran well after a three month absence from the track behind Borora last time. That form has since been franked and given nominal improvement he looks the one to beat. Dinarelli is from a yard that is in good form and has plenty of ability but he tends to find one too good and for that reason he is opposed. Mrs Phillip is from a top yard and is fairly lightly-raced so is open to improvement, but a strict reading of her form leaves her with a little to find. Belcaro is another that could go well but he can not be backed with any confidence as he was pulled-up for no apparent reason last time. Mattkar has a long absence to overcome and is from a shrewd yard so is worth noting in the market, but Greensmith Lane has plenty in his favour here and is taken to score.
