Lost The Plot made an encouraging chase debut behind the potentially useful Samon at Fontwell last month and has to be respected but this looks a virtual match between Miss Cool and Jaboune with narrow preference for the latter, who has proven form over fences. Miss Cool is an interesting recruit to the novice chasing ranks having shown progressive form over hurdles last term, culminating in a creditable third behind Blue Ride in a valuable event at Cheltenham. However, her lack of chasing experience may cost Martin Pipe's mare and, having already won twice over the larger obstacles, Jaboune looks the one to be on. Alan King's gelding was of a similar level of ability to the Pipe mare over hurdles but looks at least as good over fences judged by wins at Hereford and Fakenham. He is taken to defy a penalty. Highcroft Boy, from the Philip Hobbs stable, looks the best of the remainder.
