Not a race that will take a lot of winning and the vote goes to Pagan Storm while Capulette and Forever Phoenix appeal as the main alternatives. Amanda Perrett's showed the benefit for the fitting of first-time blinkers when running out a narrow winner of a six-furlong maiden here earlier in the month. The son of Tabasco Cat showed good battling qualities on that occasion and looks worth following now that his confidence is high, particularly as the extra furlong should suit ideally. Capulette is best in on official figures and landed a similar event over a mile here in late June but has twice failed to recapture the same level of form since and looks worth opposing once again. James Fanshawe has his team in good order at present and there should be more to come from Forever Phoenix who shaped with plenty of ability last time but Pagan Storm has solid credentials and is taken to come out on top.
