Aidan O'Brien saddled the first three home in this event last season headed by the outstanding Rock Of Gibraltar. The master of Ballydoyle bids for further glory with Tomahawk who had both Zafeen and stablemate Ontario behind when narrowly denied in the Middle Park Stakes earlier in the month. The son of Seattle Slew should prove well suited by the return to this furlong longer trip and is the TEAMtalk selection to prevail in one of the most competitive Dewhursts of recent times. In a race full of well regarded and progressive performers, there are plenty of dangers such as Trade Fair. Roger Charlton's charge showed the benefit of experience when a highly impressive Newbury maiden winner last month. The manner of his fluent display suggests the son of Zafonic is out of the top drawer and he should prove a tough opponent. Rimrod and Saturn are a little more exposed but both come here chasing a hat-trick and neither can be discounted lightly. However, their best form has come over a mile and the drop in trip may count against them at this level. Al Jadeed held on grimly when landing the Royal Lodge last time and is another who could prove vulnerable to the selection's superior pace. Desert Star looked a class ac t when taking a maiden over course and distance at the Cambridgeshire meeting but this represents a much tougher assignment for the Green Desert colt.
