Faith Healer showed improved form to win a poor maiden handicap on the all-weather at Southwell last week and has more to do off a 7lb higher mark today so preference is for another last time out winner Hazewind, who gets the nod over Panshir. The last mentioned was highly tried on his most recent start and should appreciate the return to this company. With the stable's horses in good form at present, he has to be respected and makes more appeal than Michael Bell's Spin King, who has been held in similar grade of late. The Barry Hills-trained Lorien Hill ran better last time and is another worthy of a mention, along with Vince Smith's Ask The Clerk, a stablemate of Faith Healer, but it is Hazewind that gets the vote. The selection bounced back to winning ways at Warwick last week when beating Three Welshmen by a head. A 2lb rise for that success seems perfectly fair and Hazewind is taken to follow up.
