    Verdict

ENIGMATIC had Medieval back in third when scoring at Ascot on his return to action. There should be more to come from Alan Bailey’s charge this year and he’s preferred to the unexposed Caradoc. The latter won in novice company last summer and makes his handicap debut on his reappearance while Laieth won on the all-weather in November but made little impression at Meydan earlier in the year. Arigato should be winning again this season having landed a double last term while Madeleine Bond went close over track and trip at the end of last year but that was in soft ground.
