Oh Golly Gosh just needs to step up on his comeback outing to prevail, with Lyford Lass and Vibe taken to give him most to do. Oh Golly Gosh had pulled too hard on his second career start at Lingfield, but settled much better when chasing home City Palace at Warwick a fortnight ago, handling the soft ground in the process. Kevin Darley has the leg up again and he should make a bold bid to go one better. Lyford Lass was backed at long odds but made to look one-paced by Glen Innes over the course and distance on her debut 17 days ago. She handled the testing conditions as well, but with Slip Anchor on the dam's side, the feeling is that she will improve when put over middle-distances. Vibe unshipped Royston Ffrench leaving the stalls on his Ripon introduction but was sent off as third favourite so must have some ability. He gets the chance to show us today, and makes most appeal of the rest. Oh Golly Gosh is going the right way though and should take all the beating.
