Joint top-weight Aviation has a decent chance of scoring here but we opt for one at the other end of the handicap in ARDESIA while Waldo Winchester could be well treated on his handicap debut. The pick was close to landing a conditionals handicap on his last appearance over course and distance off a mark just two pounds lower. The form has proved strong so far from that race and he'll like the drying conditions. Aviation will have to concede 15lbs to the pick and found just one slightly too good here over a shorter trip at the beginning of the month. The lines from that contest have been weak but on his penultimate effort he finished ahead Le Burf who was considered good enough to have a tilt at Cheltenham this week and based on that his mark looks fair. Waldo Winchester looks to have been allotted a competitive mark on hi handicap debut as long as his fall last time hasn't had any ill effects. In contrast Presque Perdre looks a little high in handicap these days and in a competitive race the weight advantage may be enough for Ardesia to score.
