        Verdict

        Effective, Indian Spark and Danzig River are three against the field in another tight handicap and the vote is given to Danzig River. The selection has dropped to a very handy mark and ran as if about to hit form last time out when third behind Idle Power. He again has conditions to suit and off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Effective rates the main danger on her best form but she ran as if the handicapper had caught up with her when fourth behind Rezzago last time out and at the likely odds she looks worth taking on. Indian Spark is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Marshallspark but he is becoming hard to win with. Of the remainder, Tedsdale Mac and Balakiref are others that could go well in an open affair but neither are prolific winners and for the winner we return to Danzig River who looks to have everything in his favour.
