Methusaleh, Rainbow's Classic and Chris Corsa are three against the field in this maiden in a race where the market will be very informative and the vote is given to Methusaleh. The selection was a fair second on his debut behind Stainley. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and given normal improvement he will be hard to beat from what looks a good draw. Rainbow's Classic rates the main danger as he was a fair third on his debut behind Unique Moment and is another that is sure to improve. But he is bred to be suited by further in time and for that reason he is opposed. Chris Corsa was behind Rainbow's Classic in that race and there is no reason why he should gain his revenge on identical terms here. Zahara Joy has place claims on her best form but she is more exposed than most and it will be disappointing if a less-exposed type does not beat her. Of the remainder, Bollin Derek is a well bred type and is worth a cautionary look in the market but for the winner we return to his stable companion Methusaleh who at least has experience on his side.
