    Verdict

We finish with a modest, but tricky handicap chase and we will side with top-weight Stormy Beech, with Midlem Melody and Comopadre the likely dangers. The selection has put in three decent performances this season and deserves to get his head in front. He almost did it last time when just tiring in the closing stages when a three length second to King Of The Arctic at Sedgefield. He faces a similar quality of opponents today and should be up to landing first prize. Compadre is not the most consistent of performers but looks well treated on his best form and could sneak into a place. However the main threat to the selection could be Midlem Melody who has contested much better races recently and gets in here on a very fair mark. Midlem Melody's stable companion Risky Way is starting to get the hang of things and may prove best of the remainder, but for the winner we return to Stormy Beech
