      Verdict

      Sir Mark Prescott is masterful in his placement of horses such as One Off and although the gelding's winning run has to be halted somewhere along the line, it may not happen today. Wise Tale and Sahnour are the closest rivals on the official figures for the race and have to be respected. While Cosmic Case is nothing but game and should again run her race. However, One Off has improved for the steady rise up to this sort of trip and may still be ahead of the assessor as he is still only rated 66 after four straight wins. The son of Barathea looks to be a useful stayer in the making and is taken to continue his progression at the main expense of Sahnour, who is the likeliest candidate to make a race of it in the closing stages.
