Redwood Rocks should have the required experience to take care of this opposition, with Capetown Girl and newcomers Inchconnel and Roman The Park, worth a second look if the betting speaks in their favour. Redwood Rocks lost ground on his nursery debut at Ripon, but finished a creditable third, and then bettered that when a close second to Go Bananas at Doncaster. The step up to seven furlongs definitely suited Bryan Smart¿s youngster, and now that he is back amongst maiden company, should take all the beating under Jamie Spencer. Capetown Girl ran her best race on rain-softened ground at Thirsk the time before last and may need similar conditions to bring out the best in her. Inchconnel has been gelded already and looks nothing special on breeding, while Roman The Park¿s sire Titus Livius has been getting a few winners, so she should pay to follow in time. All in all though, this should be safely left to Redwood Rocks on all known form.
