The two old-timers, Kuster and Kylkenny are no back numbers here but Desert Hawk is in better form and is given the vote, Charmatic is another in with strong claims. Mark Brisbourne's gelding couldn't have been any more impressive when landing a similar contest at Yarmouth. Ground conditions should again suit and he will prove hard to beat. Charmatic ran well at Windsor last time on fast ground but has also gone well with cut in the the past. He does have to shoulder top-weight but should still be involved in the finish. Kuster should be primed following two runs this season and Kylkenny didn't do too badly last time out and is on a fair mark. However the form pick has to be Desert Hawk and he gets a confident vote.
