A Hampton Court maze of a race with the escape possibly proving to be Jazz Messenger. Gerard Butler's colt looked very promising earlier in the year and, despite defeats in valuable handicaps twice since, comes here pretty fresh and, accordingly, could be worth siding with. Most of these have a much-of-a-muchness feel to them so Highland Reel, capable of running a good race in this type of field, and locally-trained Dumaran, who is a course winner, are ones in with chances. The tough Muchea and Shahzan House will certainly not be stopping at the end but Jazz Messenger might prove better than all of them.
