Verdict

An Saighdiur was in very good form at this time a year ago but looks a few pounds high now. He was just behind SRUCAHAN in a Curragh Listed event last month and the latter, who started favourite after an earlier victory on the track, should come out on top again and can regain the winning thread. Flic Flac was well beaten in this a year ago but has been busy at Dundalk over the winter and should do much better. Allegra Tak was behind the selection at the Curragh as was the heavily-backed Bird's Eye View, though the latter's saddle slipped and he has to be forgiven that run.
