In depth

Verdict

DUTCH GOLD won a Curragh handicap in very testing conditions on Thursday and Noel Meade has booked claimer Neil Ryan to wipe out the penalty so a quick double is on the cards. Bottler'secret showed himself suited by heavy ground when landing a Galway maiden and the placed horses have both won subsequently. Immutable will love the conditions and came up against a progressive type at Thurles while Yamalia Star was unfortunate not to lose her maiden tag at Killarney. The remaining trio are all in with a shout in a competitive handicap.
