Arctic Moss has done little wrong so far in similar contests and is taken to defy her double penalty in a race where Powerlove and Pinkerton Mill are rated the main dangers. The selection made a winning debut when with Alan Swinbank over course and distance a year ago prior to finding the opposition and ground too testing in a Listed race at Sandown that has thrown up plenty of winners. The daughter of Moscow Society made a winning return for new connections when landing a Sedgefield bumper last month and there is no reason why the six-year-old should not be able to follow up today. Heather Graham has done well with her small string this term so Parisian Rose, a daughter of Norwich, should be watched closely on her debut. The biggest threats are likely to come from among those with racecourse experience of who recent course and distance third Powerlove would have the most obvious chance. Sue Bradburne's filly strictly holds Emkanat and stablemate Noble Tiger on running that day and has to be respected. Pinkerton Mill has a bit to find with the selection on debut running at Sedgefield and is another to consider but Arctic Moss sets a decent standard and should be tough to beat.
