      Verdict

      RED SPINNER, who won a Roscommon bumper in August, came here for a maiden hurdle in November and though beaten by an outsider ran well enough to suggest he would soon be winning and this looks his day. Starplex looks the logical choice as the danger as he's done very well in bumpers, scoring at Newcastle on his debut, and is bred to be a hurdler. It's hard to get excited about the remaining trio with winning point-to-pointer Emkae possibly the best of them.
