There could be some mileage to be gained in siding with L'Orange Lady, who edges a narrow vote over in-form rivals Nolife and Tiger Talk, who arrive here with the strongest claims out of the rest. The last named is sent out by a yard that have been steadily notching up the winners recently, with Tiger Talk doing his bit along the way. However, this is a stiffer test than the one he faced when winning an amateur riders handicap at Catterick last month and he will do well to add to his tally in this company. Nolife is at the top of his game at present and is sure to be popular in his search for the four-timer. Nevertheless, this faster track may not play to his strengths and he is not one to go overboard about despite the step up to three miles plus probably being in his favour. Therefore a more solid option at the likely prices comes in the shape of L'Orange Lady, who has nothing to fear from today's distance and can make amends for a soft fall at an early stage last time.
