A trappy affair with little solid form to go on, but we'll side with Indian Laburnum to regain the winning thread, with Finzi the most likely to chase him home. The likes of Supreme Breeze, Time To Reflect and Just Jolly are all fairly solid performers but also fairly exposed and none of them appear to be particularly well treated at the moment. Potoffairies offered little encouragement at Exeter earlier in the month, but Henrietta Knight does not send too many horses here and the gelding had some reasonable Irish form last year so is probably one to be wary of. Indian Laburnum beat Finzi by two and a half lengths at Uttoxeter in October, and although he was subsequently disappointing at the same track, there is a chance that race may have just come too soon for him. Finzi has since gone on to win at Haydock and more recently finish third at Warwick. However, he has a tendency to jump to his right and there is a suspicion this track may not suit him. That said, we fancy Indian Laburnum to confirm the form and he could just be good enough to land the prize.
