This is a very moderate contest, even for a seller, but College City has shown enough to suggest he can win a race of this nature, and is just preferred to Protocol, Beyond Borders and Disgrace. The latter is fairly lightly-raced over timber and showed a hint of ability when dropped to selling grade for the first time at Doncaster last time, while old Protocol is game enough and in reasonable form but is still likely to find one or two too quick for him over this trip. Beyond Borders was second in a seller at this track last month, and was also placed in a slightly better race at Catterick last time so he certainly can't be rule out, but we just prefer the chance of Richard Guest¿s College City. Only a five-year-old, he finished a close second to Peter's Imp at Cartmel in August, and ran well enough in a better race over this course and distance last time, when Protocol finished well behind him and is now just three pounds better off. Although this is probably not a race to get too heavily involved in, College City could just about prove good enough.
