SPRING SNOW is taken to go one better than on debut although she may have something to fear from Sweet Irony, Cloudy Joe and Kasbadali and that's before we come to the newcomers. The selection hails from the Swinbank yard which excels in these races and Spring Snow stayed on strongly at Southwell to finish second having raced a shade too green in the early stages. Having cost 130,000 dollars as a yearling, he's just the type that his yard does well with and he's sure to go close. Sweet Irony left his debut form behind to finish a clear third behind two good horses at Ascot and represents a clear threat on that form whilst Cloudy Joe and Kasbadali have shown promise in one outing apiece and are entitled to improve. Jomade is out of a bumper winner, Tippering cost a pretty penny and Jukebox Melody looks an interesting type being by Brian Boru and the market should help sort the wheat from the chaff in regard to the newcomers but supporters of Spring Snow may be able to make hay.
