Cheekpieces may help to bring the best out of BOBBLE HAT BOB who is suggested ahead of Muntami and Spare Me as a result. The selection has been a little disappointing so far but he lined up in a relatively competitive race at Ludlow last time and may not have been ideally suited by the demands of the track. He's been given a break and returns in cheekpieces rather than blinkers and could be worth another chance. For those who prefer to side with runners with form in the book then they need look no further than Muntami and Spare Me. Muntami has run two excellent races at this track on his last two starts but is 6lbs higher than when beaten last time so may be worth opposing as a result. Spare Me has been a little in and out in recent weeks but showed what he was capable of last time and makes the short-list as a result but Bobble Hat Bob and his new headgear heads it.
