In a very tricky contest Were Not Stoppin gets a sporting vote ahead of Lanmire Tower and Benefit. Robin Bastiman's ten-year-old finished runner up to today's rival Benefit at Ayr last time. The margin was ten lengths but the selection would have got a lot closer but for a couple of bad mistakes. The drop in trip should help is cause today and if he can get his jumping back together he should go close off at today's weights. On his best form Lanmire Tower has to be a major threat to all. He has disappointed on his last three outings but had previously slaughtered a competitive field at Doncaster. If he is on a going day he will be hard to beat. Pornic is hard to win with but does hold claims off today's mark, but if Were Not Stoppin can lift his feet today he could be the best option.
