Verdict

Chestnut Ben won a lower grade contest over track and trip on Boxing Day but has been raised 7lb for that success. He should still be in the mix but BIG WATER also scored on his latest start at Carlisle and has now won two of his last three starts over fences. A P McCoy gets the leg up for this and further improvement is expected so he gets the nod. Anay Turge and Lucky Landing remain out of form despite slipping down the weights while Roxyfet has his first outing for a new trainer having won three times over fences in France.
