Verdict

Kayfton Pete was second in a lower grade chase last time but has yet to win over fences in 12 attempts and George Nympton hasn't won a race of any kind since 2013. Sedgefield winner Auldthunder is another upped in class but Shooters Wood has a shout on his earlier third at Southwell given he can race off a 5lb lower mark today. LIGHT THE CITY (NAP) makes most appeal back over fences for the first time since winning on his chasing debut at Sedgefield last month so Ruth Carr's charge gets the nod with improvement expected.
