The trio of Jonalton, Phar From Frosty and The Sister look the three to concentrate on here with preference for the last mentioned, who is proven over the trip and hails from a stable coming back into form. Jonalton was given an enterprising ride when making all to win a handicap at Huntingdon off a mark of 103 last week but may not be allowed to dominate today and has to give weight away all round. Phar From Frosty gave the impression that this trip would suit when a creditable third behind Above The Cut at Newton Abbot in June. However, lack of peak fitness for Charlie Egerton's gelding is a concern so preference is for The Sister. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding showed improved form on her recent return to action when beating Felix by 11 lengths at Worcester last month. With plenty more improvement to come from a lightly raced mare, she looks the one to be on. None of the remainder make much appeal with John Wainwright's pair Bobanvi and Easternking looking the pick of them but The Sister sets a fair standard and should be tough to beat.
