A tricky bumper to end the card and we will take a chance on the newcomer Basic Fact, Piper Paddy and Ladro Volante are put forward as the main dangers. Jonjo O'Neill usually has a few decent bumpers in his yard and this one does appear to be nicely bred. He is a son of Rudimentary out of Native Emma, making him related to champion hurdlers Granville Again and Morley Street. Unless the market says otherwise, this looks the one to be on. Piper Paddy is the best of the experienced runners having finished a close up third behind Inherent at Newbury on his debut. Another debutante to keep on the right side is Ladro Volante. Trainer Simon Sherwood always merits respect in this sphere and this son of Benny The Dip should be watched closely in the betting market. All in all a fascinating need to the card, with Basic Fact our sporting selection.
