The vote here goes to Rosetown ahead of Kimono Royal and Fieldsofclover. Kimono Royal fell on his chasing debut but his hurdling form affords him respect, as does the fact he hails from a good yard. Mini Dare is well-enough weighted based on his hurdling form and, despite being ten pounds above his Huntingdon winning mark, he can't be ruled out in a modest event. Hurdling efforts would also give Scratch The Dove and Rohan a chance, a similar comment applying to Fieldsofclover based on his best Irish form, and he is potentially interesting. A further drop in the weights from his last run sees the one-time decent Valleymore now on a more realistic mark, but Jesnic has failed to build on his Worcester run in April in three runs since. Rosetown does at least know how to win and, if retaining just a modicum of his hurdling ability, would rate as a major player. In fact, the handicapper seems to have been very fair indeed in assessing him over fences. Finally, Tianyi seemed to show a bit more here over a shorter trip last time but, from Celia's High downwards, they will race from out of the handicap, which leads us to look elsewhere for the selection, which happens to be Rosetown.
