Hiho Silver Lining gets a tentative vote in the bumper, with She's The Lady, Dallas Alice, and newcomers Another Burden and Mrs O'Malley others worth considering. Hiho Silver Lining was a little unlucky on her debut at Exeter in January when hampered two furlongs out, so did well to finish second. She was then pitched in against some of the best young horses when 13th behind Senorita Rumbelita in the Aintree Bumper in April. As long as she is fit enough, a big run is on the cards. She's The Lady made all to score at Wetherby in November, but now has a penalty to carry so is worth taking on, while Dallas Alice has her first outing since April. Ginger McCain has quite a few decent bumper horses including Sword Of Damascus in his yard, so Mrs O'Malley should be kept in mind, especially if the market speaks in her favour. The locals will be keeping an ear to the ground as regards Another Burden, whose dam is a half-sister to the Triumph Hurdle winner Saxon Farm, but we pin our hopes on Hiho Silver Lining.
