An interesting handicap with Ellomavul, Figura, Holly Rose, Miss Glory Bee and Cumbrian's Princess all shortlisted with the vote going to Cumbrian's Princess. Ellovamul has been penalised for a recent Yarmouth success but should still go well, and Figura is well-handicapped based on 2003 form and, while she has shown little of late, do not completely rule out a good run from this course and distance winning mare. Holly Rose was disappointing last time but there is no doubt that she is well-weighted based on her Folkestone win of last July, and Miss Glory Bee, another course and distance winner, won from today's mark two years ago so a case can be made for her chances. Mrs Brown is a possible improver from the Sir Mark Prescott stable, and Cumbrian's Princess has won over eight furlongs here and seemed to stay today's trip when tried over it last time. As such, she is entitled to her supporters too from her current rating, and she gets our support too. Piquet can be given a place chance also, while Semelle de Vent is not one of John Gosden's leading lights but is fitted with a first-time visor, which might bring about some improvement. As we say, it's an interesting handicap, with the vote going to Cumbrian's Princess.
