Aggravation might be the one and gets a tentative vote over Alphun, with newcomer Kahlua Bear one to consider as well. This is not an event to get too heavily involved in so only a small wager is recommended on Aggravation who may be able to benefit from his experience. Andrew Reid's charge improved markedly on anything achieved previously when a close third over seven furlongs here last time. The fact that the first six home were separated by less than three lengths suggests that the form is weak, but the drop back in trip should at least be in his favour. Alphun was involved in scriammging over the course and distance on his debut, finishing sixth of 12 to Judd Street in the end, and should come on for the run, while William Haggas's newcomer Kahlua Bear would not have to be anything special to take a hand in this company. In truth it is poor fayre, but Aggravation is lumbered with the vote.
