        Distant Drums gets the vote in this maiden with Trimlestown and Bachelor Party heading the list of dangers. The selection was a fair third behind Ask No More last time out, he looks sure to have come on for the run and in a poor race he is taken to score. Trimlestown rates the main danger on his latest third behind Grand Entrance but he has already given the impression he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in handicaps and he is passed over with this in mind.Bachelor Party is another worthy of respect as he is a well bred type from a yard in form and he should be monitored in the market. Magic Rush was second behind McNairobi last time and is another with place claims but this looks more competitive and his overall profile leaves him with a little to find. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Distant Drums.
