SPOUK gets the nod though Blessing and Special Reserve are obvious players among the figure students. Spouk shaped up with a degree of promise at Wolverhampton and the well bred type had been backed throughout the day as if something were anticipated. She can enhance paddock value with victory here. Blessing has to reverse form with Special Reserve on their meeting at Windsor in October. Given their respective prices, it's likely that none of the connections expected to be hunting around here for a first success. Mark Johnston's team are in good form so don't rule out Fashion Week. He ran incredibly green on debut and more can be anticipated. Headgear has worryingly been reached for on Bantu after one racecourse start. Roleplay showed improved form at Great Leighs on his second start. Yvonne Evelyn looks moderate though Jeremy Gask's yard have started sending out winners. Classic Dancer is bred to be better over much further but is nevertheless noted in the market. Spouk gets the nod.
