      Verdict

Beauchamp Star looks the pick of this poor bunch, Esperance and Pyrrhic could be the main rivals. The David Evans trained four-year-old drops into this lowly grade for the first time and should have too much class for these rivals. She finished a close second to the 71 rated Buscador at Wolverhampton last time and meets nothing of that calibre this afternoon. Esperance is in good heart at the moment and ran another fine race when fourth to Visraki last time. He is not easy to win with but should be vying for some place money. The Gary Moore trained Pyrrhic comes into the argument on the pick of his Lingfield form last year and could sneak into a place at a decent price. Running Times has been campaigned over hurdles recently and is interesting on his return to the flat, however Beauchamp Star is favoured by today's race conditions and is a confident selection.
