Panjandrum, Boavista and Ever Cheerful are three against the field in a tight claimer and the vote goes to Panjandrum. The six-year-old won well in this grade a couple of runs ago when defeating Blakeset and then finished in mid-division in a much better handicap last time. The drop back to claiming company could make all the difference and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Boavista rates the main danger on his second behind River Phoenix but although he is consistent he always seems to find at least one too good. Ever Cheerful could also go well but has never won over this trip before so is opposed. Of the remainder Princess Kai is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Panjandrum.
