    Verdict

Topflightcoolracer was impressive in winning at Wolverhampton last time and a 6lb penalty can prove no obstacle to a follow up, so she is taken to score here from Day By Day, The Jay Factor and Maysarah. The selection has done nothing but improve after a fairly low key start to her career. She acts over 6f and was good enough to take a handicap over the minimum trip by four lengths last time. With confidence high she can overcome the 6lb anchor to score. Day By Day enjoyed the drop back to this trip when winning a Yarmouth handicap last time. She too is penalised here and receives a handy 8lb from the selection so she is very much respected. The Jay Factor has run some decent races in defeat and this is his optimum trip but he probably needs at least some drop in the weights before breaking his maiden tag, while Maysarah won a 6f Hamilton maiden but was all at sea in handicap company last time and has a bit to prove. All of that leads us back to Topflightcoolracer, who gets our vote.
