Precautionary might hold the key here, with Cape Gigi and Veronica's Girl rated as best of the rest. The selection has run to a reasonable level of form on all three starts - certainly in the context of this contest - and, even though she is debuting on the all-weather now, the daughter of Green Desert might be worth chancing. Cape Gigi showed enough promise on her Wolverhampton debut to be considered, particularly over today's longer trip. Korikancha has achieved a rating of 68 but that is mainly due to a heavy-going Yarmouth run last time, while Red Vixen improved from run one to two, but run three will have to bring even more progress. Finally, Southgate Lady cost 17,000 guineas but has shown little in two starts but Veronica's Girl's Lingfield Polytrack third last time puts her in with a shout for some money. Overall, though, we are happy enough to side with Precautionary.
