In this race, we have shortlisted Happy Camper, Rathmullan, Sheer Focus, Tiny Tim and, possibly, Primatech, with the vote going to Sheer Focus. Happy Camper has shown enough on Turf and the all-weather to be granted consideration, particularly as his rider takes three pounds off his back. In similar vein, Jasmine Pearl has form enough from higher marks to get amongst the money. Primatech ran better than his finishing position suggested last time and could well play a part in this modest heat. Rathmullan, one of a number that sport headgear in this race, has more than enough recent form to play a part and must be considered. The best of Sheer Focus's Turf form gives him leading claims and he has first-time blinkers on today, and you can't rule out Single Track Mind on a best-of-form form basis although recent efforts have hardly been inspiring, including in cheekpieces. Others to have the odd bit of form are Somayda, Tojoneski and The Gambler, while Tiny Tim would have a big chance on the best of his form of the last 12 months and could well go well fresh following a break. Afford him all due respect but for us the vote just goes to Sheer Focus.
