Samarinda is red hot at the moment and can keep the fires burning here, with Tilapia likely to show up well and Hazzard County and Gallantry others to consider. The selection has won three of his last four starts and has a progressive profile. Up 17lb as a result, things clearly are getting tougher, but he responds to the challenges well and was a very comfortable scorer last time at Kempton, so looks good enough to take another prize. Tilapia is another who has been in good form in the spring, but his winning run came to an end last time. However, he battled resolutely there and will not go down without a fight again. Hazzard County has been running well in all of his seven starts to date. He is another progressive sort and there is no reason to believe he will do anything other than that again here on his first try over a trip he is bred to act well at. Gallantry is 3lb higher than when winning over c&d in February and comes here on the back of a good run at Chester last time. He should appreciate the step back up in trip and can go close, while Wavertree Warrior should also be involved. However, Samarinda is in a rich vein of form and can maintain that with another success.
