TEBAY took his time to get off the mark but then followed last month’s victory at Chelmsford with a cosy success at Kempton. A 3lb rise looks unlikely to prevent another bold bid and John Best’s charge can confirm recent form with Cheeky Rascal. The latter had earlier gone close over track and trip when finishing in front of Miss Elsa while Pike Corner Cross has been thereabouts over a similar trip at Wolverhampton lately but rarely wins nowadays. Rockesbury has been in the mix over shorter distances recently though has yet to prove he stays this far.
